Bailey Labrenz- 5th Grade

As alumni of Mount Pisgah Academy, I am so excited for the opportunity to be teaching 5th grade at APCS starting in January.  I am currently a student at Southern Adventist University and will be graduating in December with my B.A. in Liberal Arts Education with an emphasis in Elementary Education.

When starting college, I never dreamed I would be a teacher.  I was on a path in the medical field but soon realized that God wanted me doing something else: teaching!  Through prayer, God led me to a position as a teacher's assistant and I fell in love.  Since then, God has continued to lead me toward education with a passion I haven't experienced before.

I am looking forward to see how God leads me to APCS.  I hope to help my students learn about Jesus through nature and in every lesson I teach.  I am looking forward to see my students grow academically, socially, physically and spiritually.

In my free time I enjoy hiking and traveling to new places.  I have already had amazing opportunities to travel all over the world for missions and to study.  I hope to help my students learn more about nature as well as help them appreciate other cultures!

Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the Glory that He will reveal to us later.
