I am the 6th grade teacher at APCS. I graduated from Southern Adventist University in 2014 with a B.A in Liberal Arts Education with an emphasis on Elementary Education. Becoming a teacher has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made in my life thus far. It is a lot of work, but a tremendous blessing to be able to help move kids forward in both their academic and spiritual journeys. Knowing that I am making even a small difference in the life of one of my students makes the hard work worth it!

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Alex, our daughters, Andi and Aiden, and our son Asher.  We also have a mini-schnauzer, Charlie.

I love teaching middle schoolers. They have so much enthusiasm for life and are right on the cusp of the journey to discover who they are as individuals.  I love having a front row seat!

We love to travel, hike, try new foods and spend time with our friends and family.

I feel so blessed to be able to teach children and can't wait to learn from them and create life-long memories.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,  casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. ~ 1 Peter 5:6-7
