I am the 5th and 6th grade teacher at APCS. I graduated from Southern Adventist University in 2014 with a B.A in Liberal Arts Education with an emphasis on Elementary Education. I have since taught in several states and classroom settings, but Asheville is now my home! Becoming a teacher has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made in her life thus far. It is a lot of work, but a tremendous blessing to be able to help move kids forward in both their academic and spiritual journeys. Knowing that I am making even a small difference in the life of one of my students makes the hard work worth it!
When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Alex, our daughter, Andi, and our mini-schnauzer, Charlie. We love to travel, hike, try new foods and spend time with our friends and family.
I feel so blessed to be able to teach children and can't wait to learn from them and create life-long memories.
