I am the 5th and 6th grade teacher at APCS. I graduated from Southern Adventist University in 2014 with a B.A in Liberal Arts Education with an emphasis on Elementary Education. I have since taught in several states and classroom settings! Becoming a teacher has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made in her life thus far. It is a lot of work, but a tremendous blessing to be able to help move kids forward in both their academic and spiritual journeys. Knowing that I am making even a small difference in the life of one of my students makes the hard work worth it!

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Alex, and our 2 dogs! We love to spend time outside, going camping, and trying new restaurants. I also spend a lot of time painting, reading, taking pictures of my dogs, and perusing the aisles of Hobby Lobby and Target.

Including our move to Asheville, Alex and I have moved many times throughout our lives - both before and since being married! Our families live all over the country and world so we are always looking for a chance to visit new places!

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,  casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. ~ 1 peter 5:6-7
