What do you love most about living in Asheville?
I love the beautiful mountains, the opportunities for hiking and being outdoors and living near all my family.
Tell us about your family.
I am the middle of three siblings who all live in the Asheville area as well. I have been blessed to grow up around my extended family who have been in the area all my life. I have three beautiful nieces, two that attend APCS and one who is in high school.
How did you first get connected with APCS?
I'm a lifer! I attended APCS for preK-8th. During my graduate work, I was looking for a part time job and Mrs. Miller talked to me about doing after school care and preK assistant. I loved it!
What preparation did you have for your role at APCS?
I got a BA in Social Work and am finishing my Masters in Social Work. I am specializing in Social Work in the School Environment. Also years of babysitting and playing with my nieces.
What are your hobbies?
I love singing, Drives on parkway with the windows down, listening to music. My favorite place to go is Graveyard Fields.
